Cargill beat- River Tay. Larger numbers of running fish

Cargill beat- River Tay. With the help of an extra flush of water at the weekend there are lots of fish running the river right now. On Saturday even though there were none landed there were 6 fish hooked. All of which were larger summer salmon. Some days the salmon will tend to take a bit short and the result is a poor hook up. River conditions are improving all the time as the level is dropping closer to 2ft. Also the dip in water temperature accompanying the extra water help encourage more fish to take.
