Cargill beat- River Tay 4lb sea trout on the fly

Cargill beat- River Tay A nice sea trout i got tonight from the cradle on a pearly Cascade. The river level is steady at 2ft 6inch but heavy rain today will see a small rise tomorrow. Grilse are piling up the catchment with many being seen further up river. There are fish showing in the estuary on the top of every high tide.

Sea trout resting at my feet after release.
