Cargill Beat - Tay Salmon Fishing Season Opening Day
Beautiful winter weather for the opening day of the 2012 salmon season. Robbie macGregor of Anglers Choice Dundee playing a kelt on the spinning rod.No fresh fish caught but a great day had by all. 7 kelts and a rawner was the bag for the day.

Conditions are good, river sitting at 4ft a great chance of a Springer.

Cargill Beat - Salmon Fishing Season River Tay 2012
Three days to go until the Salmon Fishing opening day on the Tay, the excitement is buzzing and conditions are looking good. All of the boats have had there lick of paint and back on the river. A new log burner has been fitted to the upper hut ready for the Spring Fishers and the beat is looking great.
