Cargill beat- River Tay Scotland 21 salmon on upper Cargill

Cargill beat- River Tay. An outstanding days sport on upper Cargill yesterday with 21 salmon landed. These included a sea liced fish at 18lb and two big hens at 17lb which were all retruned. In the morning as the water was still coloured we struggled to land just 4 fish but as the river quickily dropped and cleared spinning flying c's took an amazing 17 fish in 3 hours in the afternoon. As many were also hooked and lost. This was truly a day to remember on Cargill. In the last 3 days we have landed an amazing 44 fish and the beat is currently full of salmon. As an added note of interest we have also had 4 brownies over 5lb this week.
